A SELF-EMPOWERED YEAR AHEAD

Life has been rather serious for you over the past few years, Pisces. For a while, it may have felt as if you were in a daze—existing without any clear direction for your life. Gone are the days of going through the motions. Hard truths and reality checks delivered a Masterclass that has shaped who you are right now.

That doesn’t mean you’ve become cold and somber. You’ve simply sobered up – you’ve grown wise and mature. You’re less tolerant of the ways in which you've been underliving, putting more effort toward living with purpose and intention.

Pluto in Aquarius is working on your internal landscape, transforming you on the inside. This planet seeks to remove inner angst, buried demons, and fears tucked away, deep within your subconscious so that you no longer hide from a world that needs you and your gifts.

Saturn and Neptune in Aries are insisting that you reclaim your worth, so that you no longer underestimate your value and contributions, while Uranus in Gemini brings change on the home and family fronts, helping you plant roots that support the new versions of you emerging.

Slowly but surely, you’re getting a handle on yourself, feeling more self-assured and confident. Growth looks good on you, and it will continue throughout all of 2026.

You begin the year socially engaged. Time spent with friends, attending conferences, and other special occasions will keep your calendar full. A traveling caravan of planets—Mars, Venus, Mercury, and the Sun—brings attention to the groups and networks with which you are affiliated. You seem to be interfacing with more people for both business and pleasure, and this may lead to a few chance encounters that further support your evolution.

Then, you’ll quickly begin to run out of steam. That same traveling caravan joins Pluto, motivating a shift into lower gear—one that sees you pausing for reflection. You may feel the need to withdraw, desiring solitude and escapism. This coincides with the first eclipse season of the year.

A Solar Eclipse on February 17 brings a new beginning for you behind the scenes. It’s as if a seed is being planted deep within, meant to grow and bring new insights and awareness. The only way for this seed to gestate is through rest, so be sure to lean into this quieter, sleepier period. Two weeks later, a Lunar Eclipse on March 3 wraps something up on the relationship front. You may be ending an association or making a final decision to commit.

Mercury will retrograde through your sign between these eclipses throughout the month of March, bringing back-and-forth energy around an important decision (retrograde planets create the optical illusion of moving backward—a symbolic invitation to retrace our steps.)

An internal dialogue thus unfolds as you consider important connections and how they impact your life. You’ll be deep in contemplation, with clarity restored as spring arrives. At that point, you’ll be focused on what—and who—is truly of value to you. The eclipses and retrograde cycle may remind you of your innate worth, and of who is worthy of your love, time, and investment.

Financial transactions, short trips, new learning, and domestic matters fill the remaining spring months—especially if you’re relocating, negotiating a salary, or entering a new classroom setting. Jupiter in Cancer also inspires childlike play throughout the first half of the year, offering a reprieve from heavier themes.

Once summer arrives, you may find yourself in the throes of a new love affair—or at the very least, attending festivals and launching creative endeavors. Children are highlighted as well, and news of a pregnancy is another possible interpretation.

That said, Mercury retrogrades once more throughout most of July. Date nights may need to be postponed, summer camp could be canceled, or a creative launch may be pushed back. The rule-of-thumb with Mercury retrograde is to keep living your life, without forcing or manipulating outcomes. The more flexible you remain, the better.

Retrograde hiccups begin to resolve as August approaches, thanks to Jupiter’s ingress into Leo. You may find yourself taking on more responsibilities—projects at work, caregiving duties, pet adoption, and everything in between.

Jupiter’s influence is positive, bringing joy through growth in your daily affairs, especially if merging lives with someone or starting a new job. Still, Jupiter can also be excessive, so be mindful not to take on too much at once.

This period coincides with the final eclipse season of the year: a Solar Eclipse on August 12 brings a fresh start to your day-to-day, supporting meaningful lifestyle changes under Jupiter’s influence. A new role at work—or even becoming a new parent—are possible manifestations.

Meanwhile, a Lunar Eclipse on August 28 falls in your sign, dear Fish. A personal chapter comes to an end in preparation for what is set to begin. Whether you’re completing a long period of self-development or making a decisive change, these eclipses mark a pivotal shift in 2026.

Late summer into fall places emphasis on your relationships with significant others—close friends, romantic partners, family members, or business allies—as new commitments and agreements are forged. Marriage or a joint business venture may be in the works, and growing investments feature prominently.

The fall months also bring wanderlust! After a full year of heavy lifting, you may feel the urge to escape and explore. Travel abroad is likely; you may decide to enroll in coursework or pursue a certification.

In fact, such aspirational goals will begin to emerge toward the end of the year, especially when it comes to new career opportunities. But October brings delays as Venus and Mercury retrograde. Venus retrograde is notorious for prompting relationship and financial reassessments, while Mercury compounds matters with miscommunication and logistical hiccups.

This may look like academic edits if working with faculty members on a research project, delays with grant funding or scholarships, or even hiccups involving a destination-wedding.

Thankfully, both Mercury and Venus station direct (i.e., begin to move forward) on November 14, restoring forward momentum and resolution. It may not be until the very end of the year that events fully stabilize, but at least a shift will be felt.

The fall months may feel suspenseful, but the payoff arrives in December. Professional advancement is likely, and opportunities previously stalled can finally move forward. The challenges will have been worth it, as your vocational path and legacy build.

Consider this end-of-year period another battle won—one that reflects how far you’ve come as you continue to move with intention and claim your life’s destiny.
