A WELL DESERVED PAT ON THE BACK
For the first time in over a decade, Capricorn, I can write a horoscope for you without using the word “transformation.” Your metamorphosis is complete. Pluto — which occupied your sign from 2008 to 2024 — has moved on to Aquarius and will not return for another 246 years.
You can finally breathe easier and focus on aspects of life that don’t involve personal upheaval. You can take a moment to reflect on your growth over the years and give yourself credit for surviving a Pluto transit.
Life continues, of course, but you’re doing alright. Pluto’s new position in Aquarius shifts focus toward money, finances, and resources for you, which will become especially important in February. Saturn and Neptune emphasize domestic matters, meanwhile. You may be investing in property, expanding your family, or healing strained relationships.
Uranus in Gemini brings changes to your daily routines in the meantime — you may be launching a new enterprise, updating your fitness regimen, or cultivating autonomy in your schedule. Ultimately, you seem to be focused on creating a life that prioritizes your own goals.
Now, Jupiter in Cancer brings blessings in connections with others— friendships, romantic relationships, business partnerships, and family ties. New partnership agreements and commitments will expand further when Jupiter moves into Leo later in the year. Life will continue with its surprises; thankfully, you don’t have to be God’s strongest warrior this year. You only need to just be.
The year begins with a stellium of planets in your sign — Mars, Venus, Mercury, and the Sun — bringing focus to your growth, personal plans, projects, and even vanity changes. This is your birthday season: ambitious, energized, and ready to kick off the year with momentum. Use thi energy wisely.
Soon, money matters take center stage as the traveling caravan of planets joins Pluto. Expect focus on purchasing power, property investments, financial negotiations, and other transactions. This coincides with the first eclipse season of the year.
A Solar Eclipse on February 17 ushers in a new start that could bring abundance. The Lunar Eclipse on March 3 wraps up activities centering broader goals and aspirations. You might earn a certification that boosts your earning potential, for example, or turn a property investment overseas into a revenue-generating venture like an Airbnb.
Mercury retrograde in March may slow negotiations and communications, however (retrograde planets appear to move backward around the Sun — symbolically encouraging us to retrace our steps). Miscommunications are likely, especially around transactions and even grant applications. But these issues resolve by spring as domestic activities expand.
Saturn and Neptune in Aries highlight discernment and discipline on the home and family fronts. You may need to address long-avoided family dynamics, take on caregiving responsibilities, or tackle home repairs. Facing these matters will teach you to better parent and care for yourself. Thankfully, this energy blends with fun, joy, romance, children, and recreation during the spring months, before busy days take over.
Your schedule will soon be full. Uranus may prompt adjustments in routines, offloaded projects, or changes to your diet and exercise. Daily life fills with doctor visits, veterinarian appointments, work tasks, and household chores. Relationships will also become more prominent as the summer approaches.
July brings another Mercury retrograde, however, generating potential setbacks in connections with others, such as tensions, disagreements, and other minor delays. By late summer, these matters resolve as intimate and partnership-related activities take precedence. Jupiter’s entry into Leo will expand your commitments, which may involve business contracts, custody discussions, or even wedding planning.
Jupiter’s influence is largely positive. Challenges faced often serve a greater purpose or opportunity for growth. The August eclipses reinforce this energy: a Solar Eclipse on August 12 brings new beginnings in an important partnership. A Lunar Eclipse on August 28 sees resolution to ongoing discussions that lead to compromise.
These could involve securing a business space if opening a brick-and-mortar shop, for example, or renting a new apartment in a new neighborhood. Activities in these areas continue throughout the remainder of the year, while the rest of summer highlights travel, new adventures, and career development.
Networking opportunities will increase too, connecting you with diverse individuals, and attending events that generate professional favor and advancement. But fall sees Venus and Mercury retrograde in October, prompting assessments of relationships and financial matters.
Social engagements, professional events, and conferences may require re-evaluation. Whether working with vendors or collaborating on a team project, you may be reviewing a budget, or your investments in certain affiliations. Mercury retrograde brings back-and-forth and delays, while the Sun adds emphasis, demanding focus. Eventually, Venus and Mercury will station direct (i.e., begin to move forward) on November 14, bringing resolution, although matters may not fully stabilize until year-end.
Nevertheless, by December, you enter your annual rest period, a time to retreat, recharge, and be fully unbothered. Your year wraps quietly as the fall whirlwind settles into winter, and you’ll be reminded once more that things always work out – you no longer need to be on high alert.
After years of navigating Pluto’s intense influence, you can now explore life freely, confident that having left Kansas, the world of Oz is yours to relish.
